Did you know that Sarah Palin pays $150,000 for her clothes alone? And she calls herself a “hockey mom”! Isn’t that ridiculously Sarah Palin-y? She then said, “Well I don’t really pay that much.” She’s a nut. And here’s another thing that isn’t really about Sarah Palin: John McCain’s brother called 911 when he was in traffic! “Oh no!! I’m in 2 minute traffic instead of 2 second traffic—oh no!—I’ll call 911! 911!” Sarah Palin and the Republicans have such ridiculous views on everything, and are so ridiculous sometimes, especially when a Republican woman cut herself in a so-called “B” cut and she was a Republican and wearing a McCain sticker, and she claimed that a Democrat (Obama supporter) had done it. When she obviously had done it herself in front of a mirror because it was backwards! She did it mainly to say that Obama supporters were crazy, but apparently, she is. And here is a really good thing though: Obama has gone up so high in the polls and McCain has gone down! Here are the polls as they are today, 10/26/08:
By the way, if you can (or could) vote, is one of the reasons you would not vote for Sarah Palin because she pays $150,000 for her clothes? It would for me. I think that I will make that as my next question—I suppose we have only one day left to vote on “Do you like my blog?” The McCain campaign is still going on that , “We’re not in the real part of
PS: When I say ridiculously Sarah Palin-y, that’s exactly what I mean.
PPS: I’m actually glad that McCain chose Sarah Palin as his running mate—it will make all of the McCain supporters not like McCain and not vote for him.

Hi Hero, I just wanted to say I love all your blog entries, and I especially enjoyed this last one on Sarah Palin. For an 8-year old, you are amazingly well informed & have a great command of irony. Plus I was greatly amused by your sarcasm in writing about Sen. McCain's whining brother stuck in traffic. What a hoot. Please keep writing this blog, even after the election, and I'll definitely keep reading it! Plus add "President of the United States" and "top political scientist in the world" to your list of five million career objectives you can pursue if you choose. You have the right stuff.
What bothers me, too, is that she just let the RNC spend that much for her clothes (bought at very high end stores btw) instead of saying “look, I think it would look better if I bought less expensive clothes at Macys or Target”……or, better yet, allowing designers to donate clothes (like they’ve always done for candidates). She didn’t think. She didn’t question. It says a lot about how she makes decisions.
Hello! Thanks for the comments and I completely agree with your point, Kippy, on Palin's clothing. Oh and Leftcoast: You're right about the whining brother of McCain--it's so funny, isn't it? Thanks again and sorry that I didn't respond to your other comments. See you!
Hi, happy holidays!
Leftcoast, I'm sorry that I didn't write for a long time after the election, but I guess I just started it again! I hope all of you are happy!
Happy holidays again and see you soon! Hero M.
