Wow! Isn't it amazing how much it took for Obama to win and now he did?! Just think: it will be a wonderful future!
Now about the blog: I know all of you were sort of wanting me to continue doing the blog and so you could hear my updates and things about what I thought about the election and things. But I don't really think that is quite a sufficient purpose for this. I loved writing this blog when I felt it had a purpose and I am leaving it up in case you have comments. I had a specific reason for writing this, that was for Obama to become elected, but now that my dream has come true, I don't think there is quite a purpose for it anymore. I might come back to this blog someday and keep writing, when I feel a need. So, TAFN (that's all for now!). Stay in touch--keep commenting and write about what YOU think about this.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading your blog and learning your thoughts about the election, the candidates, the issues, and the glorious outcome of Barack Obama's victory. I'm glad you're leaving your blog up, even if it's in neutral gear for a while, and I hope you'll come back to it when you have time to share your thoughts and opinions. As you know, winning an election is one thing -- and a very important thing, to be sure -- but actually governing in a time of crisis is an even more important thing that all good citizens should care about and pay attention to. Like you, I'm very excited and optimistic about President-Elect Obama becoming President Obama on January 20, 2009. It won't be easy for him or for us, but I now believe America is heading in the right direction and that the future for all of us, especially our kids, is much brighter. Thanks again for your blog!
